Here are some pictures of the Edmund D. Edelman Children's Court in Monterey Park. I started volunteering there through a program called Free Arts. I do art projects with children from 3 to 18 before they go into court in order to relax them and prepare them to testify. This court house is unique in the world as it is dedicated only to cases involving children. It is a child friendly environment; Disney channel in the waiting room, the free arts program, the court is actually designed in the shape of a smiley face, murals on the walls...The pictures I could take were limited by the fact that I cannot photograph anyone that is in the court house.

Back from Los Angeles, where I did graduate work in bioethics and religious studies. Currently living in Montreal and soon embarking on a new adventure; LAW at McGill.
