No pictures allowed from this point on...Dan Flavin's exhibition was great! His arrangements of Neon Lights made me feel euphorically postmodern. Exhilarating Art!

2005 P.E.T. Land Glider
Developed by Personal Electric Transport of Los Angeles, this scooter-like vehicule is equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell that enables it to be ridden 33 to 40 percent farther than its battery-only counterpart. The small fuel cell is designed to be easily removed so that it can be used to run other electric devices such as communications equipment, entertainment systems, power tools, and in-home appliances. While California currently has only 8 hydorgen stations, many designers believe that the fuel will be more widely available as providers respond to the increased demand from state residents. Series production of the fuel cell Lan Glider is planned to begin in 2008.

The 1962 Rotar...it was equipped with two 6500CC Triumph motrocycle engines that were laid on their sides and connected to high-speed fans that creates the cushion of air on which Rotar hovered. Levitating automobiles fascinated the public during the beginning of the space race. Though large firms such as Ford and Curtiss-Wright experimented with air-cushion cars, they were used by the military and select private organizations and never sold for private use.
