De par ma naïveté bien humaniste, je suis tombée sur cette définition du péché que j’ai tout à fait adorée;
“ Literally translated from the ancient Greek in which the New Testament was written, to sin means to miss the mark, as an archer who misses the target, so to sin means to miss the point of human existence. It means to live unskillfully, blindly, and thus to suffer and cause suffering. Again, the term, stripped of its cultural baggage and misinterpretations, points to the dysfunction inherent in the human condition.” A New Earth, p.9.
According to the author Eckhart Tolle, the dysfunction inherent in the human condition is that, in our normal states of mind, most human beings are overcome by their minds (the EGO). This translate in suffering, unsatisfactoriness, or just plain misery.
"I think, therefore I am" Descartes
Jean-Paul Sartre understood the mind in a different way, he was able to dissociate from his ego and his mind.
"The consciousness that says 'I am' is not the consciousness that thinks" Jean-Paul Sartre
